St. Catherine Laboure and The Miraculous Medal

ST. CATHERINE LABOURE AND THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL St. Catherine Labouré was blessed with apparitions of Mary Immaculate, to which we owe the famous Miraculous Medal. For the forty-six years (from the year of the apparitions until her death), only she and her confessor knew who it was to whom the Miraculous Medal was revealed, despite many pressures she received to reveal the secret. The fact that Catherine kept her secret for so long created a sense of mystery, not just in the reflections on her life, but during her life. Prayer for the Canonization of Blessed Frédéric Ozanam

Prayer for the Canonization of Blessed Frédéric Ozanam Lord, you made Blessed Frédéric Ozanam a witness of the Gospel, full of wonder at the mystery of the Church. You inspired him to alleviate poverty and injustice and endowed him with untiring generosity in the service of all those suffering. In family life, he revealed a most genuine love as a son, brother, husband and father. In secular life, his ardent passion for the truth enlightened his thought, writing and teaching. His vision for our society was a network of charity encircling the world, inspired by St. Vincent de Paul's love, ...[Click title to read more]

Third anniversary celebration of Amélie Ozanam’s Birth

This year is the third edition of the International SSVP Women’s Day, set up in 2020, on the 200th birth anniversary of Amélie Ozanam. This day is celebrated in tribute to each and every SSVP woman who have taken part, and still do so today, in the ministry of Conferences, bringing their love to their neighbours and their faith to the most needy. Amélie Ozanam, especially recalled on this day, is a clear example and a role model of selflessness, service and unconditional love for God and the mission of the SSVP, always supporting her husband to make his dream come true with his colleagues: ...[Click title to read more]
